    Foundations of innovative contracting and value-based agreements within pharmaceutical, biotech and medical devices arena that have been seen across the globe.

    Day1 covers nomenclature of VBA and how different VBA types are being used within different settings. This will be followed by numerous case studies exemplifying what manufacturers have contracted on and why. We will reverse-engineer these contracts in detail (interactive groups) so as to define the market settings, access drivers and how VBA are intertwining different nomenclature sub types with differing payer archetypes across the globe.

    DAY2 will build on this with creation of VBA in various settings across differing disease areas, a procedural “pathway” for producing VBA from beginning to end and determinants of VBA success & failure. DAY2 will then look at how manufacturers are pivoting cross functional teams to ingrain VBA processes as part of their DNA, shifting from deploying the odd contract to instilling VBA development planning and execution as a brand strategy with value and access teams. We will also look at regulatory issues within markets and legal aspects of VBA & innovative contracting.
